Arline E. Sexauer

Arline Edith Sexauer passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020 in Camarillo, CA, at the age of 98.  Her deep passion to see Jesus has been fulfilled. 

Arline is survived by her children, Rick Sexauer & wife Marcie, Diane Glass & husband Joe, Bryan Sexauer & wife Joyce, Ted Sexauer & wife Malee, and Mary Sexauer, as well as 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Arline is preceded in transition to heaven by her son Dale Sexauer and father of her children Charles Sexauer.    

Arline was born on March 10, 1922 in Madison, WI to Roy & Eleanor Herrick. She grew up in Madison, WI and married Charles (Chuck) Sexauer in 1945. Chuck & Arline honeymooned in California to visit his parents in Burbank, and ended up making the San Fernando Valley their home for decades.  Arline eventually settled in Camarillo, CA where she lived until her passing. Her extended family remembers her as the epitome of unconditional love, giving her life in prayer for others, mentoring, affirmation and encouragement, and maintaining a razor sharp focus on who she was talking to, making them feel deeply loved and uniquely special. 

Arline was deeply devoted to God, and exuded a highly committed reverence for Him.  Her passion for God and His purposes became a legendary trait of Arline.  She loved cooking, as multiple generations of family would convincingly attest to.  You could always find an unfinished crossword or jigsaw puzzle sitting on one of her tables.  And if you dared challenge her to cards, she was intent on making it clear who was boss at the card table.  Her face radiated with love and joy, and will continue to radiate for ages to come.  A passionate lover of God and family, Arline will certainly be deeply missed, but the impact of her life will live on for generations to come.
