Carolina Sawicki

CAROLINA SAWICKI, age 91 a Camarillo resident since 1964, died of natural causes (UNRELATED TO THE COVID PANDEMIC) at home on Nov. 23, 2020.

Carolina was born on June 29, 1929 in Misiones, Argentina.  She met and married her husband, Victor, after he migrated to Argentina from Poland after World War II .   Her daughter Maria was born in 1956 in Buenos Aires.  In 1958, The family moved to Los Angeles, seeking the American Dream.  Two Years later, their son Fred was born.  Their final move was to Camarillo in 1964.

Carolina is preceded in death by her husband Victor (1999).  She is survived by daughter Maria Rodriguez (husband Carlos), and son Fred (wife Elizabeth), grandchildren: Andrew, Ulises, Carlos S. Rodriguez and Kyler A, Sawicki. She also had 4 great grandchildren. She kept in touch with her 3 remaining sisters in Argentina:  Celia, Nidia and Gladys Pietrowski.  Carolina also had several nephews and nieces in Argentina.

A private service during this pandemic was held for immediate family only at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park Dec 4, 2020 at 10am.
