Connie R. Williams

Connie R. Williams, loving mother, grand-mother, great grand-mother passed away peacefully on September 7, 2021 at age 91 surrounded by her family. Connie was born March 27, 1930 in Saginaw, MI to Ramon and Refugia Tijerina . She married first husband, Keith M. Rodriguez on June 2, 1951 in Saginaw, MI. He pre-deceased her on November 1, 1970. Connie moved to California with daughters Roxanne and Kathy in 1977.

Connie was a homemaker and spent her life volunteering for her daughter’s school and was a long time member of St. Anthony’s Church choir where she met her second husband, Charles F. Williams. They were married on October 29, 1983 and he predeceased her on March 21, 2001. She was also pre-deceased by her 7 siblings Alice, Fib, Harold, Raymond Tijerina, Delores Soto, Jeanne Castanon and Katherine Gonzales.
 

Connie spent her time helping to raise her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, traveling and her trips to the casinos.

She is survived by her three daughters, Roxanne Rangel (Ray), Karen Baumgartner (Harold) and Kathy Sizemore (Lonnie), as well as her grand-children Ray, Robert, Ryan, Roger (Taylor), Keith (Melinda), Kevin (Kendra), Lon (Jie), Meghan (Brian) and Kaitlyn. Great grand-children Raelene, Riley, Ruby, Royce, Ray, Henry, Nathan, Natalie, Noah, Maddie, Miranda, Margot, Owen, Evan, Damien and Gabby. Connie is also survived by brother-in-law, Ben Gonzales as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by many. Connie has been entrusted to Conejo Mountain Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm with the rosary at 7:00 pm on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Conejo Mountain. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:00 am at Padre Serra Parish at in Camarillo.
