Daniel J. Voss

Daniel J.Voss 87, passed January 19, 2019 at his family home in Harbour Island, Oxnard California after suffering a stroke. His funeral service will be held Friday February 1st at 2:00 pm at Conejo Mountain Memorial Park in Camarillo. Dan was born in 1931 in Los Angeles California. He was married to his wife Audrey in 1953 in Los Angeles. They moved to Oxnard in 1964 where they raised their two children Michelle and Dan Jr. Dan and Audrey ran a successful Construction and Development Company throughout Ventura County. Some of the communities were Harbour Island, Bristol Bay, Smuggler’s Cove, Lion’s Gate and Greencastle Village, Clearview Estates and Ironbark as well as Saddle Brook in Santa Rosa Valley. They later built and operated The Port Royal Restaurant in the Channel Islands Harbor in 1980-1988.

Dan is survived by his daughter Michelle Ortez and his son Dan Voss Jr. as well as 7 incredible grandchildren. Dan and Audrey also have 5 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Dan is loved by his family and will be sorely missed.
