Tribute

Dottie Lindemann, 75, passed away peacefully at home with loved ones.   Dottie’s battle with cancer ended and she went to her Heavenly Home on April 6, 2018.  She was born on July 22, 1942 at the Queen of the Angeles Hospital in Los Angeles, California. She was the first of three children to Ethel and Bob Griffith, Sister Linda and Brother Bob. During her early years she lived in Monterey Park & Wrightwood, CA. Later, she lived in West Covina, CA. She graduated from West Covina High School in 1960, then attended Mount San Antonio Junior College.

On January 3, 1964, she married her wonderful husband George Lindemann.  They both worked for the local newspaper in West Covina. They raised their three children in West Covina and Ventura, CA. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, sister and grandmother.  She worked part time in retail and real estate. A friend encouraged her to work for the Navy at Point Mugu. After a lot of hard work, she became the Business Manager for Tactical Aircraft Electronic Warfare Integrated Program Team. In October of 2007 after 24 years of service she retired with a lot of fond memories. She loved to travel across the United States and to other countries like Europe, Israel and the Caribbean and enjoyed traveling with her family making memories together.

Her faith was strong.  She attended Ventura Baptist and Ventura Jubilee Fellowship Church. She was devoted to family and friends. 

Dottie is survived by husband, George; sons Ronald & Kimberly Lindemann, Mark & Kristen Lindemann and Chet & Lori Lindemann. Grandchildren include: Raurie, Troy, Emily, Amber, Riley and Otto Lindemann. Sister Linda Lindemann (Griffith) preceded in death Albert Lindemann, children Jim & Maria Lindemann and preceded in death Christine Lopez (Lindemann) with great nephews Nick & Matthew Lopez. Brother Bob & Betty’s children Brad & Erica Griffith great niece Chloe & Brandi (Griffith) & Bryan Kramer with great niece and nephews  Wyatt, Cole and Lilly.  She will be dearly missed by all. She will live in our hearts forever.

Funeral arrangements will be Thursday, April 12, 2018 viewing 10 AM followed by service 11 AM at Conejo Mountain Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory 2052 Howard Road, Camarillo, CA 93012, phone 805-482-1959 with reception following service.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Teen Challenge in Ventura, California.  2 Corinthians 5:8, We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with The Lord.
