Kenneth “Ken” Richard Sharapata passed away on September 22, 2021 at the age of 63. Born on September 3, 1958 to Irwin and Dolores Sharapata, he grew up in Woodland Hills, California with his older sister, Debbie. Ken graduated from Crespi Carmelite High School and then Cal State Northridge. He continued his education, ultimately graduating from The Los Angeles Culinary Institute and Western Nevada College.
Ken enjoyed hiking, cooking, long road trips, history, watching old comedies, hanging out with friends and, of course, spending time with family. He was known for his award-winning and always requested Tri-Tip. He was humble and kind and had a huge heart for the Lord. He was funny and NEVER had a harsh word about anyone or anything. Above all, Ken loved the Lord and he loved serving him. Ultimately, Ken was a behind-the-scenes kind of person who was selfless and bore a servant’s heart.
Ken is survived by his sister, Debbie and her husband, Tim; nieces and nephews, Brenden, Brittney, Bryce as well as his great nieces and nephews, Elijah, Ethan, Emerald, Amiliah, Quinn and Mae.
