Socorro Rodriguez

Socorro Sanchez Rodriguez, the bravest and most beautiful soul lost her battle to cancer on May 20th, 2020 surrounded by her family at her bedside in Somis, CA.  Socorro received the devastating diagnosis of cancer just a year and a half ago, days after she buried her husband, Jesus Rodriguez. 

Socorro was born on September 14, 1945 to Maria Guadalupe Limon and Jesus Sanchez in Jalisco, Mexico. She was one of 4 children. Socorro found life in Norwalk, CA in the early 70’s and lived her last 30 years in Ventura County. In departing this life Socorro leaves to cherish her memory and to carry the torch forward, her two daughters, Irma Rodriguez-Macias and Lupita Rodriguez-Mejia; her 8 grandchildren: Daisy, Cynthia, Miguel, Jacqueline, Erika, Jesus Alberto, Ricardo, Adrian and 4 great grandchildren; Esmee, Naiya, Damian & Khloe and her two sons-in-laws; Miguel & Alberto. Socorro also leaves a host of relatives, brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

We could not have asked God for a truer soul.  The life she led, the example she was to anyone who crossed her path goes beyond measure.  She was a generous gift from above, who we will miss dearly.
